SpotTalk has provided chat features to thousands of websites through it's Windows-based software for 6 years from 2002 through 2008.

Then in 2008 upon the completion of an extensive software rewrite, SpotTalk shifted to cutting edge PHP/Ajax technology, which allowed SpotTalk to be used on mobile phones running WebKit, including Apple's new iPhone.
